QUESTION: IS THE POLAR BEAR GOING TO BECOME EXTINCT?
(See the May 14, 2008 "ASSOCIATED PRESS" news article link below)
ANSWER: Dear Ones, there is a necessity to protect these giant bears.
First of all, they are not well developed for any changes to their environment. They are ones to have been in this place, on earth, for a very long time with very little change. Therefore, they are not well developed to adapt to the changes that face them now.
These bears are ones to have had so many changes in the past five years that they are fragile. They are confused and do not foster their welfare well in the current environment. Further, as with most animals who become confused in the wild they do not do well in fostering their young. Surviving young bears have a lowered rate in reaching adulthood.
If there is not some support of the polar bears, the chances are great, that they will not last as a species, to 2050!
There was a period, when the polar bears could have survived well with small changes to their environment. But the changes now, are coming so rapidly, they can not adapt.
Go in Peace and Love.
