1. Antarctic Ice Sheet Melting

If West Antarctic Ice Sheet Melts How High Will Sea Levels Rise?

QUESTION:
It now appears that the Wilkins Ice Shelf, on the West Antarctic Peninsula, is in danger of melting and breaking up. This could mean that sea levels will rise considerably. How long will this take to happen, and what will be the ramifications for the peoples of the earth?

ANSWER:
Dearest Children, be ones to know that such as this occurrence is not that which is unusual in the history of Earth plane.

There have been such as these adjustments for a very long time as Earth "rocks and rolls" through the solar system.

As a matter of fact, there would be more to worry about if she did not make these periodic adjustments. She is one to turn on her axis as she goes around her orbit. And when the surface shifts because of her movement, the axis must adjust to keep balanced and in orbit.

There is a need for the crust of Earth's surface to adjust as well. As Earth moves around her axis, and moves through her orbit the surface shifts. Therefore, the pole must adjust as well. If this were not so, Earth would not stay in orbit and everything on Earth's surface would die with this shift of position.

There has recently been a shift in the North pole's position of 15%, to the northwest. It completed approximately one and a half years ago. The surface has adjusted through volcanic action, earthquakes, and ice adjustments. There is still surface shifting, for balance, happening, and this Antarctic ice melting, is one of them. Without this adjusting on the surface there would be a shift in Earth's orbit, as the momentum of Earth's out-of-balance weight threw her into a new position.

The ice melt will not be comfortable for everyone on Earth's surface. Water will inch up in some places, and will retreat in others. The good news is that this "inching up and down" of water will be gradual. And this will allow those affected to make adjustments in their lives.

As far as how far will the oceans rise regarding this current ice shelf melting in Antarctica? It depends on how much sun evaporation occurs. If the sun is in a position of it's highest solar effect, there will be evaporation. Then there will be more rain, the water will be distributed more evenly over the surface of Earth, and away from the ocean's shores.

If the evaporation is slower, because of the sun's lower exposure and heat, the rise in the shorelines will average about 10 feet. As you can see, this makes adjusting ones life, if living along the world's shores, a necessity. But, this is far better than throwing Earth's orbit out of it's current track and destroying everything on Earth's surface.

The Christian Science Monitor published this story on May 15, 2009.

If West Antarctic Ice Sheet melts, how high will sea levels rise?

Jonathan Bamber scans his audience - a mix of young scientists-in-training and graybeards - and asks: "If I melted the West Antarctic Ice Sheet tomorrow, how much would sea level rise?" The answer he typically gets, he continues, ranges from 5 to 7 meters (16 to 23 feet). After all, this has become a kind of canonical range well-grounded in the scientific literature, right? Not so much, it turns out. And therein lies some of the backstory to a study by Dr. Bamber and his Dutch and British colleagues that appears in Friday's issue of the journal Science. Monitor colleague Moises Velasquez-Manoff has summarized the results here. But if you want to give your web browser a rest, here are the bullet points:

- If the West Antarctic Ice Sheet (WAIS) melts, global average sea levels would rise by 3.3 meters. That's down significantly from the typical estimates. But it still represents an immense creeping disaster, direct and indirect, for more than than 3.2 billion people worldwide who live within 200 miles of a coastline.

- The East and West Coasts of North America would see increases 25 percent higher than the global average, Bamber told an audience in March at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. With a wry grin, he asked the group: "Do you believe in karma?" (India's coasts would see such higher-than-average effects as well.)

2. Moratorium Requested by AMA on Genetically Foods

The American Academy Of Environmental Medicine Calls For Immediate Moratorium On Genetically Modified Foods

QUESTION:
The American Academy of Environmental Medicine recently called for a moratorium on genetically modified food. Would it be best if genetically modified foods were banned altogether?

ANSWER:
Dear Ones, there is a truth about genetically modified foods. It is that: There is no similarity in the energies of foods that are genetically modified and those of "natural growth."

The "foot print", or energy patterns of natural foods, are totally different from those that have been genetically modified.

Food does not give nutrition to the body, if the energy (foot prints) are not natural (evolved), to the one ingesting the food.

The bodies of both man and animal recognize what is needed in food for their health. Through their bodies identifying the energy patterns of the food and selecting for these foods, they stay healthy.

This factor is why those on earth do not all eat the same foods. Each species' bodies recognizes those foods that contain the correct energies for it's own, specific nutrition. For this reason, all species evolved, do not want to eat potatoes, or grass, or meat.

Each species has developed it's body to carve out a special niche in the environment of Earth. This niche for food is identified by what makes the body feel nourished in each species. Specific energy, in food, is the answer to this species determination and selection for good health.

Genetically modified food may look and smell like the natural foods of a species but this is not true! The genetically modified foods do not contain the specific energy requirements (foot print) of a species nutritional requirements, through it's evolution. Gene splicing will never give proper nutrition, and health, to any species that has adapted itself to an environmental niche.

So, the answer is, "YES"! Banning genetically altered food permanently is a very good action to pursue.

It is much better to spend science on discovering better farming techniques and in enhancing natural seed's growth and production. This will solve the problems of world hunger. Genetic alterations, for growing more food production, will not!

World hunger will be solved by genetically altered foods in only one way. It is by the lessening of the population count! Illness and death resulting from poor or no nutrition will accomplish this end, if genetically altering foods is not stopped!

Go in Peace and Love.

The American Academy Of Environmental Medicine Calls For Immediate Moratorium On Genetically Modified Foods

Wichita, KS - The American Academy of Environmental Medicine (AAEM) today released its position paper on Genetically Modified foods stating that "GM foods pose a serious health risk" and calling for a moratorium on GM foods.
Citing several animal studies, the AAEM concludes "there is more than a casual association between GM foods and adverse health effects" and that "GM foods pose a serious health risk in the areas of toxicology, allergy and immune function, reproductive health, and metabolic, physiologic and genetic health....

3. Supreme Court Ruling About DNA Tests for Convicts

Justices Rule Inmates Don't Have Right to DNA Tests

QUESTION:
The United States Supreme Court recently ruled that convicts do not have a right under the Constitution to obtain DNA testing to try to prove their innocence after being found guilty. How does Higher Guidance see this ruling?

ANSWER:
Children, there is a truth to be understood in this ruling. "This decision is shame making", for these "August Judges". They do not see, nor understand, the simplicity of the Law. The Constitution of the United States specifically says that, "All Shall Have Equal Treatment Under the Law."

To prejudice against prisoners, as having less right to use scientific evidence, when other citizens have this right, is specifically adverse to the Constitution of the United States.

To be specific, to single out a population and take away its rights, that have been given to other citizens, is an indication that these Judges do not understand a basic intention of the Constitution of the United States!

One needs to understand that the Supreme Court is only to give "Order to the Law." They are not the "Supreme Authority" regarding the Laws of the United States.

The Voters-Citizens of the United States of America are the supreme law! All actions by the Supreme Court are subject to the Voters. When such a decision is made, the voters can change the decision by going to their Congressmen and Women and demand that a law be specifically passed to preserve the rights of these men and women. That prejudice in any form will not be tolerated through an "Unfair and Unaware Ruling" by the Supreme Court.

It is important for all citizens to understand that they are the "Supreme Law of the Land" by their votes! To ignore such as this ruling is to take the chance that in the future these "uninformed, prejudiced Judges will decide to prejudice against the Voters themselves!

Justices Rule Inmates Don't Have Right to DNA Tests

WASHINGTON - Convicts do not have a right under the Constitution to obtain DNA testing to try to prove their innocence after being found guilty, the Supreme Court ruled on Thursday. In a 5-to-4 decision, the court found against William G. Osborne, a convicted rapist from Alaska. But the decision does not necessarily mean that many innocent prisoners will languish in their cells without access to DNA testing, since Alaska is one of only a few states without a law granting convicts at least some access to the new technology.

"DNA testing has an unparalleled ability both to exonerate the wrongly convicted and to identify the guilty," the majority conceded, in an opinion written by Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. "The availability of new DNA testing, however, cannot mean that every criminal conviction, or even every conviction involving biological evidence, is suddenly in doubt." In addition, the majority reasoned, it is not so much up to the federal courts as it is to the state legislatures to establish rules "to harness DNA's power to prove innocence without unnecessarily overthrowing the established criminal justice system."

The majority appeared to have been influenced by the fact that 46 states and the federal government have enacted laws that allow some inmates access to DNA testing, and there is nothing to prevent the remaining states from changing their laws. In addition to Alaska, Alabama, Massachusetts and Oklahoma do not explicitly allow the testing. Justice John Paul Stevens wrote a dissent expressing his dismay that the majority had chosen to approve of Alaska's denial of the evidence sought by the defendant. "The DNA test Osborne seeks is a simple one, its cost modest, and its results uniquely precise," Justice Stevens said.
