1. Male/Female Balance in World Politics
The Death of Macho
Question:
When will we see a more even balance of male and female leadership in positions of political and economic power?

ANSWER:
Dear Ones, there is a need in these days to see "All as One." In the separation of egos regarding Male/Female leaders there is a danger that those who would lead the best will not step into a fight of competition. Their Loving qualities simply will not allow them to make this encounter.
This statement, born of ego and fear, sets aside female as passive and male as powerful. What truly is power? What makes a good leader? Leaders are born of the need to do something about problems that can be solved to have a better world. This does not take aggressiveness but understanding born of Love!
In these times, to not have the best leaders who can think well, not only of themselves but of the whole, is a danger. This danger is that those who would be the best and lead in the highest ways will be lost to the negativity of "ego thinking." Unfortunately, when this is so, those who would lead with passion and Love disappear from the systems that would call them forth to lead.
In today's world, there are many who would step forth and lead the world out of chaos. But the nature of these is to pass by the chaos! For, they do not have to fight to prove themselves to be good leaders. They are, by their personal "designs", good leaders and they know this is so.
They have nothing to prove for ego.
These leaders are ones who can look at the "greater good for all." They can discern what this is and simply step into the movement without drama and fanfare.
Children, Pay attention, not to those who brag, but those who speak from their hearts. Support those who would say, "I am here to serve" and who stand forth in simplicity. They have nothing to prove. There is no ego!
Women in politics have a particular gift to give. It is that they understand how to nurture and grow things. This is a gift of their very souls with rare exception.
When the world is dying from lack of Love, women have a lot to give. They are often natural leaders. They understand "Birthing and Life." In a world, struggling to survive and grow, women are ones to nurture easily. This gift is one to share with all who will listen and support.
Do not give the "egos" your vote. Look to the feminine gender to give what is natural to them, as a part of their leadership. All will bid well in doing so.
What changes in the world can result in this turning? To be ones to listen to one another, to be present with the need for "all to win," and to Love because Love is the way of Peace.
Go in Peace and Love.
News Article:
The era of male dominance is coming to an end. Seriously. For years, the world has been witnessing a quiet but monumental shift of power from men to women. Today, the Great Recession has turned what was an evolutionary shift into a revolutionary one. The consequence will be not only a mortal blow to the macho men's club called finance capitalism that got the world into the current economic catastrophe; it will be a collective crisis for millions and millions of working men around the globe.
The death throes of macho are easy to find if you know where to look. Consider, to start, the almost unbelievably disproportionate impact that the current crisis is having on men-so much so that the recession is now known to some economists and the more plugged-in corners of the blogosphere as the "he-cession." More than 80 percent of job losses in the United States since November have fallen on men, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. And the numbers are broadly similar in Europe, adding up to about 7 million more out-of-work men than before the recession just in the United States and Europe as economic sectors traditionally dominated by men (construction and heavy manufacturing) decline further and faster than those traditionally dominated by women (public-sector employment, healthcare, and education). All told, by the end of 2009, the global recession is expected to put as many as 28 million men out of work worldwide.

2. What to Do About a Bankrupt Health Care System
Insured, but Bankrupted by Health Crises
QUESTION:
Even some people with health insurance coverage are finding that they have to file for bankruptcy due to high medical bills. Is there a simple way to fix the high cost of medical treatment?
(See the New York Times article published on July 1, 2009 link below.)
ANSWER:
There is in the USA a need to examine the reasons that those who pay taxes and work hard, are prejudiced against.
When a nation allows its citizens to suffer, the nation as a whole suffers as well. There is nothing so debilitating to a country as having its citizens shackled by abuse.
Allowing the country to ignore its wealth. . .its citizens, is to bring "slipping away of dignity" to all citizens. No one avoids this loss of dignity under these circumstances.
A neighborhood that is torn apart by anger, is a blight to all. Hospitals full of "the ill" who have no resources, is a blight to all! Look at a society that allows only the privileged to live well and one looks at a country in demise!
To solve the health care trauma in the USA is not really that difficult. To consider that illness is a blight on the whole country, not just on an individual and his family, is to see the truth of this situation. Illness represents failure to the whole country and its citizens.
Citizens who are not well can not add to the society and economy in any way. Further more, when one is ill, there is little he can do for anyone but himself as he tries desperately to recuperate. This attempt to recuperation is often under dire circumstances which elongate the healing.
When a unit in a society is under strain it becomes a "non producing unit." It can not care for itself! It requires assets that are have been in deficit for a very long time. Multiply this by thousands, and the country and its citizens suffer greatly. Prolonged illness, and the resulting strain, costs a lot to the society as a whole.
How do we as a country avoid this truth? It is to understand that a healthy, happy citizen base is a valuable commodity to the country as a whole. It contributes!
What would happen if those who were ill were cared for without cost?
What would happen if those who are well, were given rewards for staying that way?
This concept supports wellness and takes care of those who have succumbed to illness. The idea is that "those who would try very hard to take care of themselves and stay well" would be rewarded.
It is a truism that when one sees himself as well, he has a much higher chance of being so. He pays attention to his wellness in many ways that avoid the high medical bills that can occur. Good nutrition, good exercise, attitudes that see the best in one's life, not the worst. . .these all contribute to good health.
Rewards given to citizens who maintain healthy life styles would spur citizens to care for themselves better and stay well.
Those who do become ill, would have not only have medical care, but also counselling about wellness, to prevent a high return to medical intervention.
Good Health is often an attitude. It is an attitude that avoids stress. It is an attitude that comes to one that "being well is not only enjoyable, but rewarding!" Once this attitude becomes a large part of the population's consciousness, it will be a part of the culture! Costs will go down and the citizens will be much more productive!
In this situation, ALL WIN!
Go in Peace and Love.
NEWS ARTICLE:
Health insurance is supposed to offer protection - both medically and financially. But as it turns out, an estimated three-quarters of people who are pushed into personal bankruptcy by medical problems actually had insurance when they got sick or were injured. And so, even as Washington tries to cover the tens of millions of Americans without medical insurance, many health policy experts say simply giving everyone an insurance card will not be enough to fix what is wrong with the system. Too many other people already have coverage so meager that a medical crisis means financial calamity. One of them is Lawrence Yurdin, a 64-year-old computer security specialist. Although the brochure on his Aetna policy seemed to indicate it covered up to $150,000 a year in hospital care, the fine print excluded nearly all of the treatment he received at an Austin, Tex., hospital.
He and his wife, Claire, filed for bankruptcy last December, as his unpaid medical bills approached $200,000.
